When a family come into the studio, I want them to feel relaxed. I know how tense or nervous they may feel when they’ve had to arrange clothes and get the children ready. We help you prepare for your session by inviting you to attend a design consultation in advance, and take care of everything once you are here. That way, no matter what, we’ll get gorgeous pictures for you.

I’ve been a professional photographer for many years now and have photographed hundreds of weddings as well as many local families and their newborn babies. In fact, children of all ages.

Kingshill Studios is ideally situated just outside Aberdeen. We have our own private indoor photography studio which is warm and welcoming – it’s not your usual big white studio.  It feels homely, it’s cosy and has comfy seating where you can relax.

We’ve created it this way since we want you to enjoy the experience – to feel at home and to completely at ease during the time you spend with us.

Plus, we have an outdoor studio! In fact, we have five acres of beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside on our doorstep, so there is lots of space to roam in the fresh air and get some outdoor family or pet portraits as part of your family photo session.

3.       Our passion for capturing family moments in photographs

Thirdly, for us, photography is more than just taking pictures. It’s about creating and capturing a moment for a family to cherish forever. 

We know how important your family is to you. Family is the most important thing for us too! My sons are my world and there is nothing I love more than spending time with them.

My own family photographs are so important to me because they are a way of remembering happy times we’ve spent as a family. And, they’re a lasting memento of my two sons’ childhoods and how they’ve grown over the years – changes that are otherwise easily forgotten.

You know, time passes so quickly. In the blink of an eye, things can be passed or lost. So, it’s an absolute pleasure for me to help families by capturing precious family moments that they can treasure for a lifetime.
