With camera phones in our pockets, it’s becoming more commonplace to treat photographs as though they aren’t special or important.
But I strongly believe that family photographs ARE so important and SHOULD be printed in order to be enjoyed every single day!
The benefits of printing your family photos
We’ve previously written about the importance of saving your family photos and we suggested three ways to do so.
Plus, we’ve written about some surprising benefits of displaying professional family portraits on your walls at home. Isn’t it amazing to realise that children can develop a stronger sense of self-esteem and gain a valuable confidence boost from seeing their portrait on the walls at home? That, in itself, makes printing your photos worth it in my book!
For this, and many other reasons too, I would urge you to print your family photos.
Particularly, if you’ve taken the time to have professional portraits taken and have invested in professional quality images, you won’t need me to tell you that these shouldn’t just be left on a phone or on a USB stick, hidden in a drawer somewhere, all but forgotten about.
If they are, what a waste!
Should you invest in digital images or print photographs?
While some professional photography studios offer packages that include a photoshoot and a certain number of digital images on USB for you to take away and print yourself, here at Kingshill Studios we’re different.
We will encourage you to have printed wall art created from your photographs as we know from experience that this is the best way to get maximum value from your photoshoot experience. Clients who do never regret the decision.
As Debbie & Gary, who have invested in wall art, discovered:
“We had our newborn photo shoot with Susan for both our babies, a year apart from each other, and have not been disappointed with Susan’s work.
We decided to purchase a nine-aperture frame for both our babies and are just delighted with how they have turned out. Having framed pieces in our home captures the love we have for our children, and everyone who visits compliments the photos. We and all our guests are able to enjoy our photos and appreciate them much more than if they were just digital files stored away on a computer or pen drive, where they can become easily forgotten or misplaced.
Having the two wall pieces side by side on our wall looks wonderful in our living room. We would definitely recommend wall art over digitals only.”
We can help you to print your family photos
When you visit us for a design consultation before booking your family or newborn’s portraits, we’ll show you the wall art options and talk through our collections and prices so that you are fully aware of what’s within your budget.
We’re so keen for you to print your family photos because we don’t want you to go back to your busy lives after your portrait session and forget to have them printed. Of course, we want you to enjoy the portraits now that you have them.
And, because we know that you can only do that fully if you get them displayed around your home, we offer the full service which takes all the hassle away!
We know that getting your portraits created into wall art falls down the to-do list and that all too often professional portraits get forgotten; never printed, never to see the light of day.
But we can, and we’d love to, help you!
Together, we can plan the size and finishes of your beautiful professional portraits that would suit your home and the space you have available to display these momentous occasions. Just bring some basic measurements with you and we can do the rest!
Your family as art
Your family is literally a work of art so why not treat it as such?
I imagine I’m right when I say that a family portrait is far more meaningful to you than any abstract artwork or generic print will ever be! So, I urge you to print your family portraits.
By having your family photos printed and mounted on your walls at home will you be able to see them every day. They’ll be sure to bring a smile to your face each time and as the years go by, they’ll become more and more precious as a memento of time passed.
Print your family photos
Printing your portraits is the only way to get the most possible value from your investment into a professional portrait session.
As another happy Kingshill Studios customer, Sheila, agrees:
“We are so pleased Susan did our family photos. We couldn’t be happier with the results! She is such a friendly person to work with and made all of us feel relaxed at every stage making it such an enjoyable experience. How she got the kids to smile and pose was amazing, they had such a fun time! It was nearly impossible to choose from the stunning pictures taken in her studio, I wanted them all so we chose a beautiful framed collection of six photos! We are thrilled with the moments captured of our family, beautifully framed and enjoyed everyday on our living room wall.”
