With Christmas fast approaching, I wanted to share with you some ideas of how you can use the professional portraits that you’ve had taken at Kingshill Studios as Christmas photo gifts.

As you’ll know from when you came to the photography studio, I have a wide variety of photo products and wall art available for purchase.

We encourage you to invest in having your photographs printed because it’s how you’ll get the most value from your professional family portraits.

Your family as art: Christmas photo gift ideas

With this in mind, we’d be very happy to help you create Christmas photo gifts for your loved ones this festive season.

Whether you visited me to have your portrait taken in 2020, or years gone by, it’s never too late to purchase wall art and photo products to preserve those special memories!

Beautiful wall art available at Kingshill Studios

These are the wall art products we can create for you:

1 – Printed portraits

Printed photographs, mounted and framed, are a wonderfully simple photo Christmas gift. Frames and mounts are affordable and come in a variety of styles.

You can opt for single aperture frames which include just the one photograph, or multi-aperture frames that include several.

We find that the multi-aperture frames are a great way to present many portraits from your session and are particularly useful when you love them all so much, you struggle to pick a favourite!

2 – Canvas prints

Canvas products are another popular way to present your images and are available in a range of sizes. Feature a single canvas or make a display of several to show your images beautifully!

3 – Acrylic circles

Another wonderful way to display a favourite image from your portrait session is as a large acrylic orb.

Very popular with my newborn photography clients, these are eye-catching and look stunning on your walls at home. A real show-stopper!

If you’re going down the DIY photo Christmas gifts route, then there are many more ways you can use your professional portraits.

4 – Photobooks

Photobooks are a great way to present an album of photographs. You can either create an album of your entire photo session or include a selection which covers your favourite images from the year.

Soft- and hard-backed options are available to purchase on the high street or online, and are easy to create and customise.

5 – Photo Calendars

Photo calendars are great DIY photo Christmas gifts.  They are easy to create and provide the opportunity to remind your loved ones – grandparents, aunties and uncles, friends and others – of some of your highlights of the year.

Since they may not have seen you that much in the flesh this year, thanks to Covid-19 and lockdowns, this will be a very welcome gift, I’m sure!

6 – Photo Keyrings, Mugs and more!

Even more affordable are photo keyrings, photo mugs, personalised photo diaries and notebooks, and personalised Christmas cards. The possibilities are endless really!
